@stackhodler What’s fascinating is that counterparty risk narratives tend to surface right before major macro liquidity shifts.

Another giga-bull Bitcoin dream last night. $250K before anyone could react. When private credit goes boom... Is it a correlation to 1 event, or is it a get into assets without counterparty risk as quick as humanly possible event? My subconscious seems to expect the latter.
Stack Hodler@stackhodler

I've not been thinking about BTC at all lately tbh but these dreams come every now and then. Sometimes it's big candles up, sometimes big candles down. Two nights ago we rocketed to $97K Last night we were going to $250K

@stackhodler It is obvious you made your money outside the “golden cages”, but if you’re born in any of those sunny countries, or even in gloomy UK, the reality is very different. Enjoy the money you made elsewhere while you can, I hope no “refugee” finds you in those coastal trails..

Been preaching it for a while, but it's really time to embrace the way of the europoor - coastal trail runs - open ocean plunges - spike ball on the beach - morning espresso in the sun - rusted out bikes / cars for transport - a cold bottle of rosé shared with friends - daily fresh produce from the market stalls - cooking with windows open, piero piccioni vibes La vie analogue. This is the way forward.

Romanticizing Europe like it’s the only place to “live properly” is a bit narrow. Yes — the slow café mornings, fresh markets, analogue lifestyle… it’s beautiful. No question. But let’s not pretend Europe has a monopoly on that. You’ll find just as much (often more) life, energy, and freedom in places like Dubai, Latin America, or Southeast Asia — just expressed differently: •Dubai → ambition, safety, world-class infrastructure •Latin America → raw culture, warmth, intensity •Bali → spirituality, nature, global community Europe is refined. Other regions are alive in ways Europe often isn’t anymore. “La vie analogue” isn’t a location. It’s a choice. Respect the aesthetic — but don’t confuse it with the only way forward.

@stackhodler European costal towns have already perfected living. There's no need to innovate. There's no new architecture that will make them more beautiful. There is no better place to be.

Europoor is just a massive BS driven by USIgnorants. All these people who say “you’ll always be poor in Europe” is because they want to be the next Sam Altman, but they don’t how to operate a microwave. In many places, you’ll do great with 1-5 million, accrue assets, and live a good life. But you’re too stupid to get it.

@stackhodler The richest men I know don’t talk about money. They talk about the hunt, the road, the crew, and the winters they survived together. Oiltown
