@SchnitzelKroos Save the mental gymnastics, you called him a donkey for the above statement in your OP as well. So do you label al-Subki and all the Sufi saints as donkeys for saying the same exact thing? Simple yes or no would suffice if you have an ounce of honesty left in you.

@HanbaliChronics no i am calling him more ignorant than a donkey because ibn uthaymeen said those who believe Allah has a shadow are worse than donkeys so this is why i am calling him a donkey i don't accept any statements like that

@SchnitzelKroos “I am not calling him a donkey for this statement only” implies that you are calling him one for this statement along with others. Would you then also label as donkeys the scholars who made the same claim about Imam al-Haramayn and al-Ghazali? I’d like to see some consistency

Muslim sisters who are visibly Muslim in appearance are getting the brunt side of things. It is extremely hostile for anyone appearing to be a Muslim, and these students are afraid to walk into their own university. This retaliation method began when Muslims and non-white students complained they felt unsafe having a former-IOF soldier, who served during one of the many genocidal attacks carried out by Israel, on their campus. Instead of listening to them, Anthony Finkelstein (The President of the University) decided to suppress their freedom of speech and install fear into them with this retaliation tactic straight from the IOF’s playbook. Female students have repeatedly complained that this former-IOF soldier has been approaching and whispering things at them…. deliberately, quietly, in attempts to intimidate and dehumanize them with threatening language. And still, nothing has been done. How is this acceptable? How is this happening in a university that claims to care about equality, safety, and inclusion? City University, Anthony Finkelstein - when will you stop hiding behind statements and start protecting your own students from racist, Islamophobic behaviour? When will you stop enabling this behaviour against your students?

Sh. Ibn Sufaan al-Qaddumi al-Hanbali (d. 1331) said about Ibn Taymiyyah: “His writings have filled the face of the earth, and both the distant and the near among the scholars have examined them without finding in them any corrupted Aqeedah or deviation from the truth.”

@HanbaliChronics Let's be real. You should translate the rest of his words, for he's taking the same stance as what modern Salafi scholars take when talking about dead scholars of different creeds, "they're knowledgeable but they made mistakes, respond to these mistakes but don't belittle them."
