@jjuddpi @dotMorten Actually I refuse to use TypeScript. 😂 But you are right about my hatred of XML. Last time I used XAML it was when Expression Blend existed. It seemed over engineered and at the same time under documented. I don’t understand why they needed to reinvent HTML/CSS.

Did a fun little comparison between #WPF and #WinUI. Simple app with ListView and 100 items in it. Code as close as possible to each other. The WPF memory usage after a bit of scrolling is just nuts

A 6GB RAM / 2GHz dual‑core requirement for Ubuntu vs. 4GB / 1GHz for Windows 11 is not the comparison we expected in 2026. Whether it’s a sign of Linux getting heavier or Windows getting leaner, it raises a bigger question: what does “lightweight OS” even mean anymore? (1/2)
