Took some time to put together but my fav Pokemon TCG Set is finally complete.
Full 1996 No Rarity JP Abra-Kadabra-Alakazam combo.
Pretty good grading too.

What’s your favourite card?
If you don’t have single favourite / marquee card I think you’re doing something wrong.
It’s in the name… “Collectibles”. We are here to collect all our favourite cards, you don’t collect cards you think are ugly or suck right?
As much as this has become an asset and an investable which can be flippable we shouldn’t forget the core basis collectibles.

But yeah i find hardest part is actually surface so easy to miss a random indent or a tiny scratch.

I mean as we saw in last consolidation retrace, the reality was that you probably only got a few pieces going at the retrace price and a whole lot of people camping. The moment price moved again everything got wiped. So many times Id just buy the 2 cheapest pieces and itd just set off an jmmediate chain reaction (then no buys again for a while while prices seem "stuck" but you get no more new listings) so you know peole are watching lol. Its not a true retrace. But i did better trying to find irl stock that online auctions, actually great supply too.

The bears are coming?
Been following CBS and studying his trading system for years. one of the best traders on X and wouldn’t dismiss what he says at all.
In CBS post he mentioned “correction or consolidation” that is not the same as a bear market.
I actually agree with what he says and based off this I am still a buyer but i am now a cautious buyer. I’m only buying hidden grails that i feel are undervalued but for higher pop items maybe i can buy 10-15% cheaper in the next few months if we get a correction. If we consolidate i can buy in 2-3 months time same price anyway, no biggie.
Am I selling everything here? Absolutely not, but with prices high and liquidity high I am using this opportunity to let go of all my regretful buys and buys that no longer fit my portfolio. Effectively capital reallocating.

Pokemon market in a very interesting spot at the moment. Buyers realising that the premiums are now excessive on vintage slabs, and sellers are nervous about relinquishing their stock in case the market goes another 30% higher. We know what usually happens when sellers get anxiety about selling and buyers start to slow down. During bull runs it's a typical effect because greed kicks in, as does the fear about not being able to ever rebuy lower again. I suspect most vintage pieces will begin topping out here, then it's whether we get corrections or the classic TCG consolidation for a period of time.
