No Rarity Pop Report 11/07/26 Will do it about every month as bi-monthly the difference feels too small and provides less data actually. - No New PSA 10s - 11% if all graded cards are PSA 8/9 and above. - Grading paced increased in June compared to May. - Charizard PSA 9/8 dropped not sure if it was a data error or a reclassification. I expect grading to stay around this pace for say a month or so. No Rarity popularity increased in December/January which aligns with PSA grading coming back around now.

No Rarity Bi-Monthly Pop Report 14th June A slight pick up in grading overall compared to previous report for both Total population as well as PSA 8/9 Category. No new PSA 10s. Re adjusted format so that pokemon is presented by order of total population. rather than PSA 8/9 population.

King Chansey Chansey No Rarity continues to lead the way. Someone got an amazing bargain with that 10k sale last month as now it’s over doubled in less than a month. Last sale on fanatic today sold for almost 23k. Wonder if this is good omen for No Rarity… Clearly No Rarity collectors are just built different 🥴

Havn’t been posting in a while as nothing much has been happening. Touching grass while cards painfully slowly come back from PSA. But considering the Cardbound Documentary got released today good time to remind people the list if what are the first generations of Corocoro Pokemon cards. Personally I mainly collected primarily the pre-2000.

Corocoro Comic x Pokemon 1996-1999 Corocoro as a category is finally coming out of the shadows. Corocoro likely will become a properly recognised category if it’s own. 1996-1999 should be the obvious place to find the gems. Populations for many are very low and they will suffer from what I have discussed before about TCG illiquid Dilemma thanks to their unusually low pops, much lower than the likes of Ivy Corocoro Pikachu which now i feel the higher pops are serving it justice. Unless people start grading all the damaged cards pop reports will likely will stay very low. There are plenty of others 2000 and beyond and even modern Corocoro which i havn’t looked into but wonder are some of them bargain?

Ivy Pikachu - Classic Corocoro Price Spectrum Looking back now the data was always available for people to see if you weren’t clouded by FOMO. Many others have mentioned this as well but the Ivy Pikachu grade of particular interest should be PSA 6 and above. People may not realize but Corocoro cards were not particularly rare. What this means is there are maybe hundreds or thousands of ungraded Ivy Pikachus. I suspect ivy pikachu survival rate was much higher than other Corocoro cards however the demand should also be higher to offset this. What we do know is that the longer the cards are ungraded the more likely they are to be damaged in some sort of way. Have a look at any other Corocoro card. Balloon Pikachu, Surfing Pikachu. You can go to any trade show and you will find at least 2 of them but they are all slightly damaged some how and likely won’t be above PSA 6. So coming back to the Ivy Pikachu, if you look at how the other Corocoro cards are priced the big jump only starts around PSA 6. But since my last post PSA 4 has now dropped from 2k down to 1.3k which is inline with other Corocoro where PSA 1-5 prices don’t differ by much. Maybe after the Card Bound video drops Ivy will buck the trend and will price like 1st edition Charizard… but so far it’s acting more and more like any other Corocoro Card.

Always bullish on Corocoro Some people read my past as I am bearish Ivy Pikachu. But if you read it carefully, I was actually highlighting prices now are much more attractive than 2 months ago. Not trying to claim its the bottom but it is definitely lower than before. FYI for the PSA 4 pikachu can be found on Snkrdunk if anyone is after one. I personally have a preference for the 1997 Corocoros, which is why I never chases the icu but hey if u are after one that is the lowest listed I found. Snkrdunk actually not a bad place to check everyone once in a while.

Its Alt TCG Season Not doing much recently with Pokemon. Looks very dull and sales have started to slow again. A lot of rotation into the various Bandai TCGs, Lorcana as well as new sets dropping like Magic. Feels like we are in peak rotation mode. Reminds me of Crypto and liquidity will just cycle through TCGs one at a time. Will use these next few weeks just to monitor how many new listing of sets I am interested in pops up. The less that pops up the more conviction I will have and will decide what to buy next. Hopefully attention to auctions also die down maybe can grab something while bidders focus their attention elsewhere.

The Real Reason Why You Should Buy Vintage - Salute to Modern Pokemon 🫡 Few paraphrases from the Gary & Graham Video - in Bold 1. Pokemon company is overprinting modern cards and rightfully so. They are in the business to make money and maximize their profits. 2. Willing buyer willing seller, despite over printing the demand is still greater than supply. The way i read this is that Modern pokemon effectively is funding the why you should invest in vintage pokemon. Modern pokemon is a means for which the pokemon company will build a warchest to ensure it remains relevant and a juggernaut for the next 10, 20, 30 years. So i salute all the buyers of modern cards and this scalping, GACHA, Vending industry for feeding all the demand. 3. He did also mention buy WOTC Era and earlier.
