@cidercask @BushelPeckCider Hard seltzers in the US are exploiting a beer duty loophole which I don't believe we have here in the UK (could easy be wrong on that though)

Astounding. The best explanation yet I’ve seen of what cider made from concentrate actually means for the drinker. HMRC Notice 162 has a lot to answer for (and should be changed?) I wonder who helped frame it to make flavoured sugar water ‘legitimate’?

It has to be said that M&S’s range of ciders is the worst of any of the big supermarkets. But as it was the only shop I was in today and it’s Friday I bought two. Particularly interested in this single varietal Dabinett which has apparently been ‘expertly blended for M&S’.
