To be that destination city, we must be a bikeable city. One where people can bike at any age along existing 340 bike facilities miles today or the 1,800 miles of bike facilities we are planning.  This year alone, we added 13 miles & have another 50 miles in design/construction.

Today, I joined nonprofit group @SolarNeighbors (SUN) as we announced the launch of Houston’s citywide solar co-op. I’m proud to welcome this community-driven initiative for local rooftop solar. I encourage Houstonians to take full advantage of this opportunity. #EarthDay
