Today, Sec. @MikeNaigIA visited with members of the @iowa_corn Leadership Enhancement and Development (I-LEAD) program. He thanked the group for advocating for Iowa agriculture & encouraged them to stay involved in policy, conservation & their communities throughout their lives.

Sec. @MikeNaigIA led a bipartisan, multi-state letter to the Surface Transportation Board urging a thorough evaluation of the proposed merger between Union Pacific Railroad & Norfolk Southern, while reinforcing the need to preserve & expand competition across the ag industry.

Yesterday, Secretary @MikeNaigIA, @USDA Undersecretary for Trade & Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg & @IowaFarmBureau President Brent Johnson hosted a roundtable discussion with farmers representing the Iowa ag community - discussing expanding markets, trade & more.

Sec. @MikeNaigIA visited with members of the @IowaCorn Collegiate Advisory Team who were in Des Moines to meet with policy leaders at the Capitol. He encouraged them to consider a career in agriculture, play an active role in policy & continue volunteering for leadership roles.
