Rameshwaram Cafe thought Mumbaikers are fools, we'd had better dosas than they could ever make. I was treated extremely rudely by Rameshwaram Cafe's staff, since then decided never to go there again. The food was absolutely mediocre too, anything is better than Rameshwaram.

Visited the much-hyped @RameshwaramCafe in Mumbai. They recommended Aamras, which I ordered only to regret it later. When it arrived the fragrance of Hapus was missing, in Mumbai restaurants, we are always served Alphonso Aamras, but this was not Hapus Aam, and the staff couldnโ€™t even tell me which mango they used. The taste was bad and I told the staff too when they asked for review. Though their Bisibele Bhath was decent, I still prefer Ramashray. Even the filter coffee, I think Matunga serves better.

Everyone wants Mumbai to have all-AC trains. But nobody wants the base fare to go from โ‚น10 to โ‚น20. Fare rationalisation hasn't happened for more than a decade now, almost two actually. Even I want all-AC trains throughout the network. But only if fares are hiked against the usual populism. Else, nope. That non-AC train is a product of your dehatism. You can't have low fares and world-class infra. We need to find a middle ground. The current non-AC fare is too cheap. The current AC fare is too expensive. Also, we won't be able to change every train from non-AC in like a month. It'll be a process spanning years. IMO, keep the non-AC fares until 40% rolling stock isn't turned AC. Once we hit 40% mark, hike all fares to new pricing. That way, transition is smoother, and people have time to get accustomed. But this is assuming that the replacement speed/rate remains constant and our babus don't fuck it up with production lethargy. Every policy in India needs to have this caveat: it'll all be fine if the babus stick to their roadmap. Unfortunately, they never can. And hence the public-admin distrust rift.

@KarnavatiSpeaks There's a chance they may come, only if BJP stops giving chocolate to certain cities like Surat, the whole Saurashtra, North and Eastern Gujarat (Godhra & Dahod). Infra & development concentration is in Ahmedabad District, it's a fact unfortunately.

Last time I checked wasn't Mumbai Metro a failiure, not me. According to a person who counts baltis here and the other one who works in an other city & gives even shittier solutions for Mumbai & Papa's Penguin ofcourse. Only one thing to say to these dumbfks. Have some shame.

All the people laughing when Fadnavis said we'll open 50 kms of metro every year, Cry. That's all I'll say now. Mumbai will add the amount of entire metro networks of Tier 2 cities each year!
