Rameshwaram Cafe thought Mumbaikers are fools, we'd had better dosas than they could ever make. I was treated extremely rudely by Rameshwaram Cafe's staff, since then decided never to go there again. The food was absolutely mediocre too, anything is better than Rameshwaram.

@KarnavatiSpeaks @sanghaviharsh 501 is absolutely terrible. AMTS still runs 9 meter buses on that route when they should run buses in high frequency. Even Janmarg doesn't care on building a BRTS Corridor on SG Highway

2025 was hands down the BEST year for Maharashtra and Mumbai. Mumbai Metro 3, Coastal Road, Coastal Road Promenade, Samruddhi Mahamarg, Navi Mumbai Int Airport and the craziest project being Coastal Road Musical Road 🤣

Everyone wants Mumbai to have all-AC trains. But nobody wants the base fare to go from ₹10 to ₹20. Fare rationalisation hasn't happened for more than a decade now, almost two actually. Even I want all-AC trains throughout the network. But only if fares are hiked against the usual populism. Else, nope. That non-AC train is a product of your dehatism. You can't have low fares and world-class infra. We need to find a middle ground. The current non-AC fare is too cheap. The current AC fare is too expensive. Also, we won't be able to change every train from non-AC in like a month. It'll be a process spanning years. IMO, keep the non-AC fares until 40% rolling stock isn't turned AC. Once we hit 40% mark, hike all fares to new pricing. That way, transition is smoother, and people have time to get accustomed. But this is assuming that the replacement speed/rate remains constant and our babus don't fuck it up with production lethargy. Every policy in India needs to have this caveat: it'll all be fine if the babus stick to their roadmap. Unfortunately, they never can. And hence the public-admin distrust rift.

@KarnavatiSpeaks There's a chance they may come, only if BJP stops giving chocolate to certain cities like Surat, the whole Saurashtra, North and Eastern Gujarat (Godhra & Dahod). Infra & development concentration is in Ahmedabad District, it's a fact unfortunately.

Last time I checked wasn't Mumbai Metro a failiure, not me. According to a person who counts baltis here and the other one who works in an other city & gives even shittier solutions for Mumbai & Papa's Penguin ofcourse. Only one thing to say to these dumbfks. Have some shame.

People Changing from Mumbai Metro Line 1 to Line 2A at DN Nagar Metro Station at 7:30 PM. Evening Peak is absolutely chaotic but Mumbai Metro makes sure to give dignified transit to all!

@Hardism For 30 years politicians have promised us all AC trains. And yet, even today @AshwiniVaishnaw and his babus haven't cleared AC rolling stock procurement tender. Gets delayed every three months.

@KaptainKennedy And tbh, our commuter towns like Virar and Kalyan are big enough to be the size of Meerut, so it's possible and MORE FEASIBLE than delhi to build a RRTS from these to the centre of Mumbai.

Shit, I didn't realise this but Mira Road is officially the first area in MMR to get a "Mumbai Metro" Line. Navi Mumbai got it's metro, yes. But Mira road is the first to be connected on Mumbai Metro Map.

@KaptainKennedy And even if every metro is ready, something like a Bhayandar to Churchgate journey in a fast local would always be way faster than people taking 2 trains end to end. Locals will always be there.

@KaptainKennedy We already had 450 kms of suburban railway all these years to every possible area of MMR? 😭 Jewar doesn't have a metro but NMIA has 2 railway lines already (Harbour and Port), keep that in mind.

@InsideInfraa Each year? Yeah no. There's no chance Line 4 or 5 open this year or even the next judging by the actual progress. Even the Line 4A portion is nowhere near opening despite the pre-election trial run "inauguration". The pace is just embarrassing. Thane Ring Metro - no comment. 😂

All the people laughing when Fadnavis said we'll open 50 kms of metro every year, Cry. That's all I'll say now. Mumbai will add the amount of entire metro networks of Tier 2 cities each year!

@AlwinCrasto Thane Ring Metro is apparently the fastest metro project, on which nobody wants to comment. It's inaugration, depot dpr, depot tenders, and now the viaduct tenders we're all done under 1 year, the work is now started in brahmand for internal metro.

@AlwinCrasto Also the Line 4A part is easily possible to open right now. Because it's ready, you have a reversal track at Vijay Garden ig. Even the Stations are done on 4A, Kasarwadavali is the only one left.

@AlwinCrasto Line 4 and 5 are almost ready man, max to max 4 will take, time till July. And once you open 4, you can even open 5 till Dhamankar Naka. Line 2B, 4, 5 and 9 all will be 50 kms. Opening till year end is possible easily
