@InsideInfraa Also the Mogharpada Depot only recently saw some activity with offices moving there and construction notices being put up, so the work would only have started now, if at all. I have no idea whether Line 4A, even if it's ready, would be able to operate without a depot.

@InsideInfraa On the Bhandup - Kanjurmarg Line 4 stretch I see a few piers are not yet erected, some girders not yet installed and work on some stations has not even started. You don't have to take my word for it, watch this drone footage from a month ago. 🥲 youtu.be/a7em2BmmUEA?t=…

Tunneling is officially underway for India’s longest urban road tunnel — the 11.84 km Thane–Borivali Twin Tunnel — marking a historic chapter in Mumbai’s underground connectivity. Nayak, the country’s largest single-shield hard rock Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) for an urban tunnel, was launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister @Dev_Fadnavis on Tuesday, in the august presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and MMRDA Chairman @mieknathshinde, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister @SunetraA_Pawar, and other dignitaries. The second TBM, 'Arjuna', will also be launched soon. This transformative project will redefine mobility in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, reducing travel time between Ghodbunder (Thane) and the Western Express Highway (Borivali) from 60–90 minutes to just 15 minutes. Passing beneath the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, the twin tunnels are being constructed using advanced TBM technology to ensure safe, efficient, and eco-friendly execution with minimal ground disturbance. Each tunnel will feature three lanes, including a dedicated emergency lane, with cross-passages every 300 metres. The tunnels will be equipped with advanced ventilation systems, modern firefighting infrastructure, smoke detectors, and illuminated LED signboards. Once completed, this landmark project will significantly reduce travel time, ease congestion, lower emissions, and deliver a faster, cleaner, and smarter commute. This is not just a tunnel — it is one of India’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, built for Mumbai’s next 100 years. Mumbai in Minutes. This is MMRDA’s promise. #MumbaiInMinutes #MMRDAMovesMumbai #ThaneBorivaliTwinTunnel #UndergroundMobility @CMOMaharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @DrSanMukherjee @MahaDGIPR @MoHUA_India @IndianTechGuide @TheINIofficial @MeghUpdates

@RitikaChopra__ @sabahvir I expected a deeper report but you've just repeated the official revised deadlines for these projects. If you look at the ground reality, there's no way Line 4 opens even by 2027. Piers have only just come up in some areas and work on some stations hasn't even started.

If you spend hours commuting in Mumbai, this is for you. 10 km of new Metro lines open this Thursday. Another 40-50 km expected in 2026. And 2027 could finally be the year Mumbai gets a network worth calling city-wide. @sabahvir has mapped EVERY SINGLE Metro line to update you on what's ready, what's coming, & what remains a distant promise. Your COMPLETE guide to Mumbai Metro is here👇. indianexpress.com/article/cities…

@IanCutress Thanks for speaking out on this farce Dr Ian! It's wild how fans and TechTubers with zero game dev experience claim DLSS 5 destroys artistic intent. Right, the artists totally meant their detailed character models from ZBrush to look like lifeless wax figures in-game. 😂

"Hey, here's a demo that's still early and unoptimized, coming out end of year hopefully. We're still getting it to work and this is an early alpha." "We shoved it onto two separate GPUs to ensure the base game runs fine and the DLSS works well enough for the demo." "We have 5090s, so why not run it on those. We could have used two GT730s for the lolz, and you would have asked why, but we had 5090s on the desk." Everyone starts screaming 🎶OMG 🎶 🎶 IT REQUIRES 🎶 🎶 TWO 5090s!!1!🎶 🎶 WONT SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN 🎶 I really can't fathom the dumb. You know console games are made on dev kits that are vastly faster than the consoles they run on. It's well documented, especially in early cycle design. To anyone that claims I'm pro NVIDIA or I'm not taking people's complaints seriously, go look at my previous NVIDIA tweets. I don't get passes for events. I find issues with their messaging all the time. This is just one where seemingly most of the TechTube space couldn't be bothered to apply the most basic critical thinking, or didn't ask a basic question or two. Instead, let's jump straight to drama and have it as the cornerstone of the outrage and content. Because clicks, I guess. There are a thousand other things to mention about DLSS5. I gave them a ton of feedback when I spoke to the engineers at the demo in person (most of the time it looks like a repositioning of the light source more than anything else, it was shown on games that aren't that high in graphics fidelity (I'm actually disappointed in modern AAA if this is what we have), half the time it looks simply like the additional tesselation we saw in DX11, and it can ignore a number of doubly-relected shadows). Here's the kicker though. NVIDIA has thousands of employees working on its gaming portfolio. I've seen so many people complain 'why did they work on this when they could have worked on other stuff'. They ARE working on other stuff. You might be able to only think about one feature at a time (make sure you remember to breathe), but these things are all developed in parallel with other features. If anyone has enough money to have teams invested in researching and developing a bucket load of features, it's NVIDIA. Also, you can turn the feature off. Imagine complaining about a TV channel you don't watch, just because it's on the guide and the cable service promoted it and needed two 8K TVs to do so because it was early 3D. I'll say it again. I really can't fathom the dumb. Or rather I can, and I'm just amazingly disappointed on this hardware critique. I'll get backlash from other media just for this post, sure, that much is certain (and thanks for obliging, much appreciated). But perhaps I should just bring @ctnzr on the show for an interview later in the year. He's a really cool dude anyway.
Rhiannon@Rhianno25594476

@IanCutress And yet NVIDIA themselves showed it required two 5090's and could only generate slop AI filter garbage.

@kunalashah Really? You need Lewis to literally say “heated argument”? Some of us don’t need help interpreting “Oh you’re checking, have a tea break while you’re at it” as heated. I never said GP has an issue with Max, you misinterpreted it that way, which is the recurring theme here.

@AlwinCrasto Did Lewis say his arguments were heated!? I can’t remember that. It’s in your head; that the drivers-engineers have heated arguments on the radio. It’s in your head that GP has an issue with Max & whatever else.

I love such “Look, Ma! I’ve arrived” moments. Haha. The surest sign of neutrality is when all fan bases attack you when you criticise their driver. Did Lewis Hamilton deserve criticism last year, especially for this comment on Verstappen-GP’s relationship? Yes. Does he deserve kudos for how well he’s started F1 2026 with Ferrari? Yes. Lewis Hamilton’s legend status remains untouched with all the criticism he gets. But should a legend never be criticised…? Heck, no, then I’ll be doing disservice to my role.

@kunalashah Now you're being obtuse on purpose. Lewis’s point was media bias: his heated arguments with Adami get highlighted while Max’s don’t. Max and GP being a great match doesn’t make Max’s outbursts over non-existent issues charming, it makes them look worse.

I stand by what I said about Lewis Hamilton pointing fingers at Max Verstappen-GP’s relationship last year. Lewis had the same/similar relationship with Bono and he’s clearly missing that at Ferrari. It was a surprise to a lot of us that Lewis-Adami hadn’t worked on their relationship and communication in the off-season. Max-GP are a match made in heaven, and not everyone understands how special it is, so it’s okay if you don’t either. I don’t care what fans call out about me or don’t. I continue on my path…and tweet about it! 😉

@simscircuit The clip makes it obvious that he was talking about people making up controversies just to pull his team down & he suggested being named in the Epstein files as the next thing that could happen. He didn't suggest that actually getting named in those files is a nothing-burger.

Understood the reaction and frustration about everything being said about his team in the media but reference to the Epstein files is in such poor taste when trying to call bullshit out. Specifically when an active TP has been named in the files, along with other F1 figures.

Hi Alwin. I am Aditya, founder of Speedloop. We estimate over 3.3 Crore micro entrepreneurs in India use options available to them. 2Ws are not legally commercial vehicles, there are risks of denial of insurance claims too. While we are not saying we are the mass solution equivalent to auto rickshaws, as a startup we have to start somewhere. The volume we offer can empower 25% of the current last mile fleet size comfortably. On a first principle basis, we are going to make the rides safer, economical and secure. That's the start point we are at. But thanks for the feedback 😊

@iamshreytyagi To be fair, I get annoyed too when people pull out phones during movies to capture title cards or key scenes. That sudden glow of a tiny screen in my FOV pulls me out of the movie, all for their pointless post to get social media clout. I get why it angered him enough to block u.

@InsideInfraa I watched the Architectural Digest video on Central Park you shared in that tweet. The thought, design, and philosophy that went into it are astounding. Sadly, I knew we’d never get that level of planning but just a selfie and drone footage product. And here we are.

Such a terrible, concrete‑heavy design. This is not a “Central Park” by any stretch. Even Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai already have better gardens where people can actually sit, breathe and cool down after a long day. In Mumbai you’ve got Joggers Park in Bandra and Priyadarshini Park (beyond the sports complex) at Nepean Sea Road. In Thane there’s NaMo Grand Central Park and Kavesar Lake garden. In Navi Mumbai you have Jewel of Navi Mumbai and even Kharghar Central Park (which is still quite concretey but miles better than this). The least we can expect is some effort to design for people, not just photos—these concrete plazas with a few fountains are good for one‑time selfies, not for lying on the grass under shade or escaping the heat. In Mumbai’s climate we need a tree‑filled garden that uses our humidity and dense canopy to actually make the area cooler. Really hope BMC understands this before it’s too late. I’ve written a tweet about what this central park actually needs to make it rival the New York Central Park. x.com/insideinfraa/s…
