In H.S. baseball, especially varsity, some coaches run two-way players into the ground and act surprised when the arm starts hurting. Pitching + playing the field adds up fast. Extra throws matter. If a kid has a future in college baseball, protecting that arm should matter.

Parents: They need the losses. The bench time. The struggle. Stop stealing their growth opportunities.

Every head coach knows this: A great assistant changes everything. They lift your culture. They protect your standards. And they determine how far your team can really go.

Coaches: You can be both tough/demanding AND fun/loving. You don't have to choose one or the other.

Speed can be trained. Speed can be detrained. If you are not timing sprints consistently and recording, ranking, and publishing those times, you are probably detraining speed and you don’t know it. Stop doing sh*t that makes you slow.
