Probably already there for the average auditor. The issue is one hack does so much reputational harm to a project. Leaving security to a blackbox is high risk. The best projects will use AI + competent human in the loop + the narrative that you take this seriously and don’t offload to a $20 Claude security review. That last line just sounds crazy. “Aave. Secured by Claude”

@JakeBlockchain Agreed but at what point do LLM auditors outperform their human counterparts? Smart contract review specifically seems like something AI will be great at…

Luckily we are still in the era where people vibe code finance apps > then no one uses them. No money lost. As trust grows, hacks will be inevitable. Vibecoding is dope. Vibecoding + finance is not dope. Long live the real engineers and auditors who understand system design.

No. Quantum threat is real. But there's already solutions and Bitcoin will upgrade quickly when the threat gets reasonably closer. Any Quantum lab is going to be a known entity. So hacking Bitcoin will be incredibly obvious. Its not a real issue *today*. All the hystersy is to sell more tokens from chains with no narrative.

@JakeBlockchain famous last words. apple, airbus, signal, jpmorgan, even siemens all taking this extremely serioslys with years of work done already (iOS 26 is quantum secure for web traffic already). leading quantuam labs are predicting under 5 years. Yet bitcoiners know better. somehow.

I laugh when someone says Bitcoin is dead. 🤣 Oh, people will use your rails for stablecoins? Commodity. And are coming to BTC rails anyway. What other asset is spent in the real world and digitally today besides BTC? Nothing. The play is obvious. You just have to not be fooled by motion = progress. Bitcoin is money.

@br_ttany Im pretty convinced the coming inference shortage is going to push everyone to explore more open model options. Being completely locked into Claude is going to be seen as short-sighted.

@JakeBlockchain bitcoin is in total unscientific denial about quantum. you can't be real money if your wallets can be hacked in a few years by some dude in wuhan. and bitcoin can't migrate to safe wallets in time either, too much agreement required. times gonnna be tough.

Just finished the most detailed cognitive test battery anyone has ever taken for a personal n=1 (in all likelihood) IQ, memory, working memory, attention, too many things to name It took two days With enough breaks to avoid fatigue So why the hell am I doing this? Baseline When I begin the year without screens, which starts in April, things may change fast & change significantly - Perhaps my memory will get a lot better - Perhaps my reaction time will improve - Perhaps my executive function will get a lot better (seems likely, I’m a bit impaired) That last one could be particularly relevant if, like me, you have attention issues like ADHD *Whatever* happens, we’ll have so many data points that we’ll pick up just about any shift & get a better idea of how our screens may be affecting us All of that will be published on the live dashboard as it becomes available. yearunplugged.com/biomarkers

I just wish these new L2s would focus on scaling Bitcoin payments But instead they all turn into shitcoin gambling casinos and stablecoin platforms It's all so tiring

BTC has been flat to down for 90 days. These are the moments to accumulate. You can do it with straight buys, or through on-chain yield products. 🎙️ @andrerserrano on the second path with Bitcoin DeFi

If you have ADHD + OpenClaw this is mandatory Finally took the plunge with my 🦞 to setup telegram topics. In a few days I'll know if it's making things worse or better. The idea is you can keep sessions cleaner by focusing your conversations in 1 context window/1 session.

Today is my last day at Stacks Labs. After more than 3 years working in @Stacks at Trust Machines (Leather + Granite) and Stacks Labs, I found out this morning that my position, along with 14 others, is being impacted. Here's what's not changing: 1. My connection with all the community members that I have crossed paths with. I've made so many friends in the Bitcoin, Ordinals, and Stacks communities over the years. People say it all the time, but the community in Stacks is absolute top tier. Everyone is mission-driven and truly aligns with Bitcoin's principles. I hope they never lose that and never stop advocating for what's right. It's been a privilege to represent the Stacks community in my role. 2. My focus on Bitcoin. In my 5+ years working in crypto, every position I've held has been a stepping stone toward a role that aligns closer with Bitcoin's fundamentals. I'm looking forward to continuing that trajectory in my next role. If you have a connection, my DMs are open. 3. Good For Bitcoin will continue. I'm excited to continue co-hosting the show alongside Kate. GFB has been a fantastic way for the both of us to keep a pulse on what's going on in the industry. Tomorrow's show will be a good one.
