Most BTC yield products publish the APY & TVL boldly, and bury the details to underwrite risk. A useful product page should disclose five fields beside the rate: • economic payer • reward asset • custody path • complete fee stack • blockers to exit

It’s happening

There’s a window right now for an OAI narrative resurgence The best move is to reposition themselves from “Pressured Incumbent” to “Underdog on a Comeback Arc” Kinda painful, because it means admitting to no longer having the lead. But unavoidable - people already think that, and you can’t have a comeback without something to come back from This is a chance for storytelling. Specifically, a 3-act story Right now people think the story is two acts: Act 1 they were ahead Act 2 now they’re not (and trying to convince people otherwise comes off as cope) The new story adds a third act: Act 1 we created the category and we built lots of amazing new things Act 2 we spread ourselves too thin and learned we needed to do fewer things better Act 3 we’re focused, we’re united, we’re bringing in hitters. We’ve got some of the smartest people in the world, now with TBPN on comms, TWO full Noams on research, Dean Ball on policy. We’re coming to take our lead back (motivating, energizing, upward arc of the hero’s journey) When you frame the story this way, you create a U-shaped trajectory Plus, the underdog position comes with big advantages that the incumbent doesn’t get Everybody loves the underdog, and everybody loves a comeback story Nobody roots for the frontrunner, nobody forgives their missteps, everybody takes shots at them. The lucky underdog has permission to be scrappy, to do surprising things, to throw punches OpenAI has spent years in the lead position - playing defense, fighting impossible expectations, not allowed to punch “down” while people call them gay and evil Switching to the underdog position lets them take more risks and finally go offense Being an underdog is a gift! If you have that opportunity, definitely use it

Look. I’m not here to tell you your doing a bad job or anything. Marketing in the AI age is difficult. I’m only responding to Zach’s post on frustration that the old ways don’t work anymore. One good example for you guys to jump on. This tweet went mega viral. Where passport is building towards its a perfect fit. No tweet. Last note: you guys updated the Foundation handle but your bio is the old one. Anyways, keep up the good work. x.com/mattshumer_/st…

Sorry but you are wrong, I have worked this account for the last 3 years, I've took it to all time highs in the first 1/2 years gone from under 10k to 25k followers, I know how to work X, well I did until all these changes come in. Those 2 posts from today are simply filler posts, actually bad examples that you have pulled, as you will know if you work in marketing these are needed between the serious stuff. The algo is completely broken unless you are rage baiting, arguing or jumping on silly trends.

Is the algo broken beyond repair? We have almost 25k followers @FoundationHQ. Only 403 views on this post after one hour. 90% of our growth from 2020-2022 when we were just getting started was fueled by Twitter, all organic. How do new startups navigate this today?

The agreement moved to the "Following" tab. You'd have to change user behavior to switch to that tab from the "For You". As hard as it is to break through with organic social media exposure. I have to agree with them that followers is a bad proxy for current interest. There is simply too much content with too few focused eyeballs to have a following be the default. This compounds when you realize user interests change constantly but unfollowing people to curate your feed is not a behavior people do today. YouTube seems to get this down the best. When I go from Gary Vee > AllIn Pod > Understanding Shame as topics of interest. YouTube curates in real time. My subscriber list is irrelevant but still there on the side bar if I need it. TLDR: Don't fight the market. AI has changed the game. Have to adapt. Honest example. I'm a follower of Foundation. But if i'm being honest. Do I learn something super useful or understand 1% more why I should buy a Passport Prime from these tweets? Not really. And I actually think the idea is dope AF and should be a warm lead. It's just not good enough. I'm swiping up.

What does cost have to do with life expectancy? The biggest levers for health are all lifestyle based. Fitness, diet, community. That’s why you see Italy at the top on this chart. Those same factors when done actively, reduce how often someone will need care and makes this chart pretty useless. US healthcare system is great in some ways. Acute care for example. And we could optimize more for preventive options, but most Americans don’t want to do those things. Because they’re lazy Americans.

I hate high taxes, but why anyone would die on the hill defending the U.S. healthcare system is beyond my understanding. You can't find a system anywhere on Earth that delivers worse value for money. Incredibly expensive. Mediocre outcome.

It always makes me laugh when naive US leftists talk about "free healthcare" in Denmark. You pay a 60% top income tax rate and then 25% VAT when you want to buy anything. You can barely afford anything and then wait four months for a specialist appointment. Nothing is free.

Dave Lund BIP-110 ⚡️🚢
Native Bitcoin yield only exists through Lightning and Ark. Everything else introduces counterparty risk, which is antithetical to Bitcoin. Even if your website acknowledges that Lightning is self-custodial, mixing those other categories under “Bitcoin yield” is disingenuous and risks confusing investors. With this background in mind, your position on BIP-110 carries little credibility, and you are contributing to the very problem Bitcoin is trying to avoid.

@davelund_ You really shouldnt have put your social credit behind that camp. Especially as a founder for a product that's agnostic (Lightning will be unaffected) Major unforced error.

Truly insane. One thing i'm experimenting with now is how much can personality change over a period of time with the right tweaks to your perspective or subconcious goals. Example: I'm introverted, i'm not romantic, i'm fine being alone, I value individual freedom over community. I'm convinced these are more sticky stories than actual traits, and curious if I can shift these in myself, retake the test and see what comes back.

Fun way to customize your @usetoyo: 1. Take @awilkinson's awesome Deep Personality test deeppersonality.app 2. Grab the AI-optimized report and give it to Toyo 3. Chat with an iMessage agent who understands you on a freakishly deep level Kind of like a therapist who's also your assistant, wired into your email, calendar, Slack, etc. Wild combo.
