@hawkmania4 They couldn’t afford to pay K9 and they can’t afford to pay Archane. Who should they let walk, JSN, Spoon, Darnold, Big Cat, Derek Hall, Byron Murphy, Barner. Everyone needs to get paid to stay the next few years. Too many great players.

#Dolphins De’Von Achane’s #NFL trade value is substantial, I wonder how much Seattle would give up for Achane? late first round pick? Again, I haven't seen Miami be interested in trading Achane, but seeing Jalen Waddle traded to the #Broncos? I guess anything is possible. Always have been interested in Achane because he is just another clone of #Chiefs Kenneth Walker.

@FDT4EVUR The Hawks have too many great players on the roster they are going to want to resign. Spoon, JSN, Hall, Big Cat, Byron Murphy, Barner not to mention Love and Charbs. They need to draft and develop players. Only way to pay new players like Archane is too release someone above.

Can the Seahawks even afford a trade from Achane? Or even willing to do so?

@SeahawkNerd I am curious your thoughts on how Coby Bryant compares to Julian Love? I thought the Seahawks might resign Bryant and keep them both for 2026 then move on from Love in 2027. Do you think that was a consideration? It works under the salary cap.

Bryant is now playing for the Bears and Pritchett currently holds the role of dime cornerback vacated by Woolen's departure. Very possible that he is the starter in that role in 2026. Pritchett was a favorite of mine in the 2024 draft and seems to be developing nicely.

@HaydenWinks Seahawks like Charbonnett more than Walker, and it doesn't make sense to extend them both unfortunately. K9 was great in the playoffs, we will draft a RB.

The Seahawks had to pick one: + Kenneth Walker: 3 year, $45M ($29M guar) + Rashid Shaheed: 3 year, $51M ($35M guar) An example of WR > RB in "positional value".

Seattle put WR Dareke Young on IR the same day as Reed, so Young is now eligible to return as well. S Julian Love and TE Eric Saubert were eligible last week. Macdonald said it's possible all come back this week.

Seahawks DT Jarran Reed is eligible to come off IR, having missed the requisite four games. Reed had a second surgery for a fracture in his hand earlier last month. Mike Macdonald on Reed: "Doing good. We’ll see how he does throughout the rest of the week, but he looks good."

Josh Jobe is one of them! Two games in a row he is arguably the best CB on the field. Doesn’t always show up in the Stat sheet but he’s playing COMPLETE games. In the run game and pass game. I’m a fan.
