JUST IN: The projected largest mosque in the United States has opened in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
The Islamic Institute of America mosque opened early to celebrate Eid.
When completed, the mosque is expected to be the largest one in the United States.
"Officials say the new facility will serve not only as a place of worship, but also as a hub for education, youth programs, and community events moving forward," TCD News reported.
