I'll tell you why Trump decided to attack Iran. Iran was building missiles and drones. In great numbers much cheaper than we can do it. There were also very close to building a nuclear weapon. We would have gotten to the point where they would have nuclear weapons and there would be nothing we could do to stop them. They would be able to attack and intimidate their neighbors at will. They could have held the Strait of Hormuz hostage at will. They could have attacked Israel with impunity. They could have attacked the Arab Nations with impunity. They could have attacked Europe with impunity. This was our 1933 moment. If we had stopped Hitler in 1933 World War II would never have happened. But we didn't. We didn't want more war. We took the easy way out. Millions upon millions of lives were lost. Trump wasn't going to let that happen on his watch.
