A glorious day presenting with other service providers at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute 8th Annual Peace B'Que, a fantastic event for survivors, families and our community. Thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped make this happen.

@charles_gaba At one point, Belloq asks one of the Nazis if he really wants to open the Ark for the first time in front of Hitler, not knowing what's inside. Belloq was always going to open up on his own, I think.

...if he hadn't gotten involved, instead of transporting the Ark via submarine, they likely would've simply flown it directly to Berlin (which was the original plan)...meaning Belloq wouldn't have had time to convince the powers that be to re-route it to a remote island.

Many people (including the Big Bang Theory) have noted that if Indy hadn't gone after the Ark, the Nazis still would've found it, still would've opened it and still would've gotten their faces melted off. However, it occurs to me that this goes one step further...

Think the renovations and modern tech/architecture plays a part when it comes to things. Just interesting that we are at the 20-year mark, and it still has some of that new stadium smell to it.

Struck by the fact Gillette will turn 20 this spring, and for the most part, it still feels *mostly* newish. Schaefer/Sullivan/Foxboro Stadium was standing for 31 years, and it felt ancient by the time it came down in 2002.

could get a good game of Lowell bingo out of this infrastructure press conference. Lots of Rourke Bridge talk, a Marty Meehan appearance, a mention to specific photos that once ran on the front page of The Sun…

@alexjgoldstein Antonio's in Amherst, but what you should really do is drive the extra half-hour to Springfield and Red Rose.

MILE 93.3 — Belchertown, Mass. Tillie meets the Quabbin Reservoir, which supplies drinking water for the Boston area but has a rather dark founding story.

@GlobeChadFinn YTTV has everything else (Turners/CNN, local channels, solid platform). Would like NESN, but YTTV lineup outweighs crappy, boring baseball team.
