This Texas Men’s Basketball Team is playing some inspired basketball with a huge win against 6 seeded BYU. Even though he can’t make a damn free throw. Matas was the difference maker tonight, 23 & 16 is dominant. And he should have had a 30 ball. Sean Miller & this coaching staff has been money these last two games. This team limped in the tournament losing 5 out of the last 6. Now they have a chance to go to the Sweet Sixteen. AJ Dybantsa is a tough guard, but I loved the game plan to take everyone else out the game while he went for 35. #Hookem

@HornTakes I think you have to distinguish annual sports from sporting events that happen every four years. I say this because the World Cup ticket prices for 2026 are ridiculous.

Most diehard sports fans don’t have a lot of money because most people don’t have a lot of money. One thing the rest of the sports world could learn from the WBC is that pricing out the “average joes” from your premiere sporting events alienates the diehards and makes for lame events.

Here is the wild pitch. I think this is easily handled by Will Smith, and should have been a passed ball. I can tell you analytically, the percentages were 69% WP, 31% PB, but I would have given this a passed ball. It's not a great pitch, but Smith is on his left knee and doesn't move well to this one, but it's right there. I mean it's in the palm of Smith's glove.

If we can’t use “F” for fly balls caught by infielders, then I feel we have to use “L” for line drives that are caught by infielders to distinguish line drives from pop-ups. Am I correct? @ChrisBurke02 @Mike_Rooney @d1baseball
