BBC Music Radio managers killed Steve Wright. Just as they did (by unceremoniously dumping) Paul O'Grady and Janice Long etc. Yes. Of course. Nobody has a job for life. But a bit of gratitude and post-service pastoral care wouldn't go amiss. And btw.. this has resulted in slashing Radio2 audiences. And all in the quest for box-ticking so they'd achieve the 20% "diversity" quotas to get their bonuses - Honestly...Just check out who replaced these much loved presenters. And these are the same 6 figure-salaried managers who allowed Bob Vylan to go out unchecked at Glastonbury while Kneecap were banned. The difference? Exactly. We have to ask what their agenda is. @LizKershawDJ @CoopLive Yeah we were there. Sitting in our seats waiting for them to come on. We’d booked a hotel in Oldham so just got a taxi back and had a few drinks with another couple we met who’d been at the gig as well. We’ve got a full refund. And hope @JeffLynne’s ELO is ok….

20,000 people went to see ELO last night. A fan I know drove 100 miles (and back) to #Manchester @CoopLive arena, took his seat- along with all the other fans only to be told just 15 minutes before the start-time that the show was cancelled. People were shocked, dumbstruck, and ,without any explanation, baffled and upset. I've never known anything like that. He's wasted hours of his time and money on fuel, parking etc and a high-end pricey T-shirt off the band's merch stall. How come ELO and the venue let the fans get that far, making money on merch and the bars before pulling the plug that late? I trust fans will get their money back immediately from @TicketmasterUK and perhaps we could have an explanation from ELO and the venue

Good news. After 3 nights missing Luke has been found. He’s a bit worse for wear but he’s safe and we hope to have him back in the UK tonight or tomorrow morning. We can’t thank everyone enough for their help. Been overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of so many.
