@KieranR77752711 The cat says "Get over it"
Save for two weeks at the end of Sept, beginning of Oct, it's been raining since Aug last. Land is wet and cold. It has been a dreary three months since Christmas, and the mornings were horribly dark in Jan

@m_brosnan Have you ever watched a sport you didn't like Maurice?
Baseball? Badminton? There has to be one!
English

@frillyflossy Too much of sport presentation now is buddy buddy and jokey nonsense. I mean what was Doyle doing getting yer man to take the kick anyway? What would Jim McGuinness do if Joanne had lads trying to kick points into where his team was warming up?
English

All joking aside he absolutely should not have shoved him ! Such unnecessary aggression and hugely unprofessional.
Shows an awful lack of emotional maturity.
Jamie Phillips@JNPhillips4
I completely get why Geoff Parling was annoyed here. TNT had no clearance for this and he’s protecting his players but I don’t think he should have shoved Craig Doyle like that. Whether you think Doyle is annoying or not, I don’t think that’s right.

@CGM0914 @ColeFusionHQ Did he ever play with Kiki Musampa?
His friends nicknamed him Chris
Chris Mushampa
English

@ColeFusionHQ There was a pro footballer called Fitz Hall….he was nicknamed One Size. He actually launched a clothing line because of it.

@finnster1977 @PGNWTLOI1D Visited in July 24 and had a lovely couple of days there. Very impressed with Poland.
English

@PGNWTLOI1D Had an early morning in that square after a few late nights at a stag party . They love their garlic on everything, I’d the heartburn from hell . Beautiful city

@Conormo56898955 Expected more from Brennan? He was a ringing cunt when he was playing too.
English

@KeithHopkinsDub @GerardOC2022 Nothing demonstrates the demise of that great team than C O C swinging his boot at a two pointer and sending it 10 yards wide
English

@JoeCarty5 @GerardOC2022 So should half of the team, brutal.
English

@cormicaneoghan A remarkable turnaround. And a remarkable coaching performance so far

The week after Galway's c'ship exit last June, John McIntyre wrote in his Connacht Tribune column that “the mood around Galway hurling is as negative as I've seen at any time over the past 40 years”.
A piece on why & how the mood music is now so different.

@seanmac67 @finnster1977 There was a couple of frees given against the forwards in the first half for pulling the backs that annoyed me no end. Like those Limerick backs are well able to look after themselves.
English

@JoeCarty5 @finnster1977 Yep, who knows the next time, we might get a bit of luck like limerick did with the gowl off the post. As you say, it’s crucial to be in the hunt with only a few mins left
English

@finnster1977 @seanmac67 And he was missed this evening. Injured I presume?
English

@seanmac67 @JoeCarty5 Don’t forget Rory Burke , best all round player and enforcer we have had in 10 years
English

@seanmac67 @finnster1977 These lads are different Sean. That's what stands out for me. Taking whatever opportunities come keep you in the game and then it's all in the melting pot heading into the last 10 or 15 mins
English

@JoeCarty5 @finnster1977 I was delighted to see the heads not go down. Could be invaluable for management to see who makes a starting team after that match. Daithi, Lee and Fleming to come back too.. the team is taking shape.. fair play to them, they did us proud
English

@finnster1977 Lots of reasons for optimism. And some of those Limerick lads faded badly. Mileage is high there
English

@GerardOC2022 I couldn't understand the logic of switching to a game that was effectively decided.
English

@peterswellman They worked out the Galway puck out very quickly and its been one way traffic since
English

@simonmedhurst @patmurphybbc This I agree with completely. It's classless. Regarding Pollock, I've read people bemoaning the fact his coaches haven't called him out over his gesticulating. I think they should concentrate on coaching him not to try to throw offloads with 90 seconds on the clock and up by two
English

@patmurphybbc The wild celebration of penalties is particularly unedifying. It's poor form to cheer the opposition making a mistake.
English

Agreed. And the hysterical responses of the players when a try is scored are beginning to ape the excesses of footballers. Rugby fans of my acquaintance used to look down their noses at the oiks of football. Sport is all so hyped up now. It’s your job to score tries & goals….
Stephen Hedges 🏴@StephenHedges7
Does this really merit a place on a rugby field ? The history and traditions of the game would suggest not. Its not football.
