He fled that country after cheering on the murder of protestors bc the regime was targeting him. Jon Stewart helped him get here and made him famous. Youssef gained American citizenship and is now an open promoter of antisemitic conspiracies and defender of terrorism with millions of followers. He just got a big contract in Egypt, the country he originally fled.
