It's funny that they translate that Japanese formulation 宮本です as "This is Miyamoto." I think it would sound less awkward to translate it as "Miyamoto here." I mean, it's not like the former is accurate. Technically he is saying "Miyamoto is."

The absolute best metroidvania you haven't played. You'd think Silksong would overshadow any other game in the genre this year, but nope. Mio does some things quite a bit better in my opinion. An all-timer for me.

@neontaster I’d compare MIO more to Ori tbh. I personally prefer Hollow Knight and Silksong, but if the platforming of Metroidvanias are more your favorite thing about the Metroidvania genre, MIO is def the best one at doing that imo.
