@Buchi_Laba @afrisagacity Everyone is silent because they're to protect their so called business. Even the crazy movement some ignorant Fuul are endorsing, it's because of their selfish interests.

Celebrities like Kunle Afolayan are the Worst set of Nigerians. Worst is even an understatement. In all these he said.. he never for once called out the Government. You’re spending 11million on Diesel in 4-5 weeks and you’re telling us! like we caused it?. An Average Nigeria finds it so hard to eat and you’re telling us you’re spending millions instead of using the influence you have to call out this government that did put all of us in this sad state! It’s worst than Hypocrisy! The truth is .. People like Kunle Afolayan would have been so loud if the President is not from the west.
𝐀𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐲𝐆𝐑𝐍@AsakyGRN

“I have been sad because I can’t cope with ₦1,500 per liter for diesel. In one of the businesses that I run, KAP Village, I spent ₦11 million in just 4–5 weeks on diesel.” — Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan laments the rising cost of diesel in Nigeria.

There is married woman in this community. I have been canceling her for years, and even had to chat with her husband one time. Each time I chat with her, I'll plead with her not to leave her marriage. Then I noticed her silence for months. My instinct told me something was wrong with their marriage. We chatted not too long ago, and I asked her a direct question. Her marriage is over. She moved out of her matrimonial home with their children to go rent a new place. Her family has returned her bride price to her husband's family. This is a marriage of about 5 years. I asked her: Do you regret walking away from your marriage? "Àgbà, I tried but things weren't working and my ex husband wasn't interested in making things work." Now she's a single mother of two. Although they are now co-parenting and the kids do not know yet that they're no more together, but they will eventually know. E pain me ooo. End.

I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England. So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church. I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care. I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be. If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church. I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK. I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no. There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Ready for what’s to come. Is this a good idea you would support?

INCREASE YOUR CRS SCORE Most people in the Express Entry pool are waiting. Waiting for the next draw. Waiting for their score to go up. It won't go up by itself. Here's how you actually move the needle: Before the tips, understand what CRS actually rewards. Language. Education. Canadian work experience. Age. Adaptability. Provincial nominations. You can't control your age. Everything else on that list is fair game. Tip 1: Retake your language test. I know, I know. Nobody wants to hear that. But hear me out. CLB 10+ across all four abilities can add up to 270 points. If you're sitting at CLB 9 in even one category, a retake could be worth 20 to 30 extra points. That gap matters at draw time. Tip 2: Get your credentials properly assessed. WES or another IRCC-designated body. Non-negotiable if your degree is from outside Canada. What it can add: PhD or two+ degrees - 150 pts Master's - 135 pts 3-year degree - 120 pts Full-time study in Canada (8+ months at a DLI) adds up to 30 more. Tip 3: Build Canadian work experience. And I want to be specific here. Working on a study permit does not count toward CRS work experience points. I see people assume this all the time and it costs them. You need a valid work permit, working for a Canadian employer, in Canada. Get the PGWP. Then work. That is the sequence. Tip 4: Learn French (but be sure you will immerse into the French community) NCLC 7 or higher in French adds up to 50 bonus CRS points. But the bigger opportunity is access to French-language category draws, which have historically had much lower cut-offs than general draws. You do not need to be fluent. NCLC 7 is conversational. It is more achievable than people think. Tip 5: Go after a Provincial Nomination. A PN adds 600 points. That is not a typo. It essentially guarantees an ITA. Research streams in Ontario, BC, Alberta and Manitoba that align with your NOC code. Do not wait until your score feels competitive. Apply now and work in parallel. Two things I hear people get wrong constantly and I want to address them directly. First: job offers no longer add CRS points. That rule is gone. Stop building your strategy around it. Second: study permit work does not count. You need a work permit. Full stop. Do not spend months optimizing for the wrong things. To summarize: - Retake your language test if there is any room to improve. - Get your credentials assessed through WES. - Get on a work permit as soon as you can after graduation. - Look into French. Even a basic level opens new doors. - Research PNP streams now, not later. Stack every category you can control. If this helped you, pass it along to someone working toward Canadian PR.

See, the funny thing is… the day I met my partner did not look like destiny at all. It looked like premium suffering. It was one of those classic Victoria Island evenings. Long day at my regular 9 to 5. My laptop had dealt with me. My boss had added small seasoning. Even the office AC was blowing like it was also tired of this country. Meanwhile, salary had entered my account that very morning. By 10am… the money had already disappeared like a view once picture on WhatsApp Debt repayment, Transport Budget, Small savings. One or two “let me just quickly…” decisions. Suddenly my account balance was looking at me like: “Hope you have learned your lesson?” So I packed my bag and stepped into VI traffic with one clear mission in life: Enter bus. Reach house. Avoid financial heartbreak. That was when I saw the danfo. One slightly tired looking bus, leaning small to the left like life had shown it pepper. The conductor was already outside shouting the destination with unnecessary confidence. “Costain! Costain! One thousand! One thousand! Wole pelu change e ooo” My people… One thousand? 😮😩 For a route that normally costs five hundred on a good and God fearing day. I just stood there for two seconds to process the wickedness. But hunger and home training said, “Brother, you will enter this bus.” So I adjusted my bag, tightened my grip on my slippers that I had already changed into before leaving the office, and began the determined Lagos fast walk of survival. That was when I noticed… I was not alone. Somebody beside me matched my pace exactly. Same urgency. Same silent refusal to miss this bus cos we were sure the next bus won’t be cheaper than 1000naira. We reached the bus almost at the same time. And that was when I properly saw her. Ah. Fine. Not the noisy, “look at me” kind of fine. Calm fine. Soft fine. And she was adorably stubby, the kind of height that makes you immediately start behaving responsible for no reason. Even in VI stress, she still looked put together. Meanwhile I was there looking like someone who had just escaped group project trauma. There was that brief Lagos moment. You know the one. Two strangers. One bus. Limited seats. Shared desperation. I did small gentleman move. “You can enter.” She smiled. “My brother, please enter. Abeg.” One bros from behind blurted out At that point I knew… This was not ordinary evening. Inside the hot danfo, with conductor still shouting like he was auctioning land, we started talking. One small complaint about Lagos. One small laugh about the ₦1000 transport robbery. Next thing, conversation was flowing like we had pending history. And honestly… From there, the story continued. Or at least… that is the story I have carefully rehearsed. Because as I am typing this… I am still inside my house, no light, heat wan finish me. Single. With full script ready. Just waiting for the female lead to enter the bus. 🚶🏽‍♂️😂
