To ladies, as you look for a life partner pls put money aside not that it's not important but rather look for a man with Empathy, one who is disturbed when you and your kids are not okay.
If you put money first, this post will remind you in 5yrs time.

@GloriousGod01 Everyone Is entitled to their opinion and I wish you all the best. But bear this in mind that you've lived a percentage of your life already, the rest is you building for the generation to come after you.Now what society do you want them to Grow in.

My friend in the UK called me today and offered to fly me out. Visa money, flight money, everything covered.
I said no.
He told me there was no plan waiting for me there but that I could find a cleaning job or "at least escape Nigeria." I told him to send the money instead so I could put it into a business here.
He was disappointed. That's his business.
I have zero interest in relocating abroad without a plan. I am not leaving Nigeria to go and clean toilets in the UK because someone wants me to feel like I have arrived. That is not an upgrade. That is a relocation of suffering.
I want to be established here, build something real, and then travel abroad on vacation as a man with options. Not as someone who fled.
The only reason I would ever consider relocating is to make serious money, and even then, it must be a concrete plan. Not a cleaning job. Not a "you'll figure it out." Not a one-way ticket to survival mode in someone else's country.
Japa without a plan is just poverty with a foreign accent.
Nigeria has my frustrations but it also has my vision. I am staying.
Above all, love God.

Someone on this X needs to pray with this. It came 3 days ago, and I ignored it, it came back again.
The Lord will hear you when you call on him.
Psalm 121:1-8 KJV
[1] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. [3] He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. [4] Behold, he that keepeth Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. [5] The LORD is thy keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. [6] The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. [7] The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. [8] The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore.

You're doing the best you can, and that's something to be proud of. Keep going, even when it's hard. You're capable of getting through what you set your mind to with consistency and Grace of God

@ummuh_Zahra Anty, your husband does not read mind.
Teach your husband how to love you better.
Avoid that guy,he just wants to nack.
He can never marry you even if you leave your husband because you're already cheap to him if he gets into the sea.
English

So I got married last year to the man who sponsored my education. Have no kids yet though. Thanks to him, today I work as a government teacher in a secondary & high school. I actually just got recruited to this school where I teach Geography.
But please, I'm confused. There's this particular guy, actually a male colleague of mine. He has been working here as a Biology teacher for 6 years. Since I arrived & started work, he has been so nice to me, guiding & showing me around, buying me gifts too, and keeping me company so I don't feel alone since I'm new. We got so close after a month. I don't know, but I just really feel so comfortable & safe with him, even more than my husband. I love his company. If I'm to be honest, I feel like I can share & tell him everything.
Even my husband doesn't get me gifts like this guy does. He is such a kind & gentle man, i must comment, he truly knows how to treat a lady but something about his behavior, actually changed recently. Which leaves me confused. He switched from food gifts & started getting me underwear, bras, and perfumes. Even on 'Teachers Day' he bought me same gifts. This has actually been going on for about 2 weeks now. Please people, this keeps me wondering if it's okay that i keep collecting these gifts. Considering the fact that, I'm a married woman.
Truth is, we've been so close, and I don't know how to go about rejecting these gifts since he is actually doing it with pure intentions, with no strings attached, and he's been so nice to me ever since I got here. I plead for your advice & guidance 🙏

So, the survival of our democracy is now anchored on the recognition of one faction of one of the 21 registered political parties we have in this country? The same faction, even when recognised, could not win a single Council seat in the just-concluded FCT election? Democracy now means their own logic in the media space MUST be accepted and our judiciary processes ignored?
These fellows think they can blackmail everyone to do their bidding AT ALL COST. Unfortunately for them, Nigerians are not so gullible.
