I am happy to stand with a national security strategy by Trump when it makes sense and I’m happy to stand against antisemitism at home. But I will tell you this. All these right Wing Jewish figures spewing transphobia constantly sure make wonder why I’m injecting the hate into my life standing with you. I have to remind myself it’s not what the average Jew thinks. But it’s so hypocritical.

@Bar39667Baron I'm no Netanyahu fan but I don't see any quotes or evidence that he confirmed the story. I also doubt Biden's claim was a thoughtful deception, more likely one of his many gaffe/senile moments -- though a higher stakes one to be sure. Anyway, thanks again for the correction.

@Bar39667Baron It’s false, but from what I’ve gleaned it wasn’t body recovery teams. A reporter said they heard someone say it, told others, but in their report only wrote ‘killed’ not beheaded. Both the IDF and Israeli govnt declined when asked to confirm the story. But it went viral anyway.

@Bar39667Baron I think I've already addressed these issues -- unless you think I had a specific memory of this 2-year old retweet but kept it hoping no one would notice? Honestly, at this point it feels like you're just picking a fight. But thank you for flagging the false info. Truth matters.

@Bar39667Baron Truth absolutely matters, and I live my life accordingly. This includes being receptive to relevant feedback (like yours) and owning my mistakes. But I am not here for insults to my character. And I don't think those are productive. So let's please not go in that direction.

@Bar39667Baron I don't trust anything 100%. But I did see Biden as fundamentally 'good' despite his flaws, and I did see CBS News as among the more reputable outlets -- so at the time I saw it as converging reports from two of the more reputable sources. Happy to be corrected. Truth matters.

@Bar39667Baron I'll add that at the time both Biden and CBS News reported it, so I didn't have reason to distrust it. But I agree, getting things right matters, especially when the stakes are high. So I'm going to delete it. Because your snapshot is here, there will still be a record of it.

I remember why I left twitter so I'm leaving again. It's too right-wing. Plus, it's useless to tweet about why the world is burning: people don't care, already agree, or misunderstand. Good luck all. (Feed will stay unlocked for transparency bc I think students are monitoring)

All of this is f-cking gross. It's inexcusable how the world has tolerated, and supported and emboldened, Hamas. And Netanyahu has jumped the shark and poured gasoline and rained fire upon a humanitarian catastrophe.

This is normal. I recently hid my Jewish ID from a business and a govnt agency to avoid prejudice. And if you’re a Jew who is against the Israeli govnt but dares to push back against Hamas or anti-Israel bias, you are now *all* the worst things: genocidal, dehumanizing, unsafe.

Palestinians are not the threat. Hamas is. And we are not Hamas. We don’t call them freedom fighters or resistance. Only in the West and in the diaspora do they call them those things. We Gazans know exactly who Hamas is: a terrorist organization that has stolen our future and held us hostage in our own land. @HowidyHamza
