A Congolese national refugee, by the name of Thierry Nima, is fighting for his life after he was violently attacked and stabbed outside his home in the South Beach area of Durban, South Africa.
The incident occurred yesterday, amid a wave of Afrophobic tensions in the region.
The attackers (March and March Thugs) ambushed him, reportedly identified themselves as Zulus and explicitly ordered him to leave South Africa immediately, then stabbed him in the neck before fleeing the scene.
Current Medical Status: Nima sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently hospitalised in a coma at Addington Hospital in Durban. He is a father to a young family.

The 1955 Freedom Charter declared that, "South Africa belongs to all who live in it." Many South Africans now believe it is time to debate whether that principle continues to serve the country's national interests or whether a new constitutional vision should place greater emphasis on the rights, responsibilities and sovereignty of South African citizens. A proposed principle for discussion is: South Africa belongs first and foremost to its citizens, who shall determine its future! Ours to Shape, Ours to Hold: South Africa, first and foremost in Our Hands, In Our Hearts: The future of South Africa belongs to us. Bloemfontein police arrest suspected drug dealer after community tip-off:
A 37-year-old foreign national has been arrested in the Bloemfontein CBD after a community tip-off led the SAPS Parkroad Tactical Response Team to a suspected drug dealer.
During an operation in the CBD on Wednesday afternoon, officers located the suspect behind a grocery store on Charles Street.
A search uncovered 25 large bags of dagga with an estimated street value of R25,000, a digital weighing scale, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime.
The suspect has been charged with dealing in dagga and is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court soon.
