A 33-year-old man was shot and killed at a café in Marine Circle, Table View, Cape Town yesterday. Police believe it may have been a targeted attack. Table View police responded to reports of a shooting at about 2pm and found the victim lying on his stomach with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene. Preliminary information suggests the shooting was directed at a specific individual and was not a random attack. No patrons, staff members or bystanders were injured during the incident.
