Just to clarify, the Pistons acquired the pick swap in exchange for taking Dario Saric’s $5.4 million contract into their trade exception.
Essentially, they paid $5.4 million to move up 7-8 spots in the first round.

Our organizational strength seems to be drafting. Our obvious weakness is pro personnel.

@ChrisSalts It’s well known that in any business where you’re giving a sign on bonus, you have to pay SOME or ALL of that bonus back if you quit before the contract is up. Nothing legally or morally wrong with what the Lions did here. This is business. Business is cold at times.
