My brother passed away.
Grief changes everything, the house, the silence and the memories, All of it and now, the part that’s been keeping me up at night…
She came to me not just for comfort. Not just to talk, She told me I could be her husband since we were already in love before.
The same woman I once loved, the same woman my brother chose and the same woman I let go of… for him.

My brother married the woman I loved.
Not a crush. Not a phase. I mean loved. Deeply. Quietly. For a long time.
I never said anything because I was still in University and he was already working as a pharmacist, He was my brother so I stepped back.
I showed up, smiled, supported them… and buried my feelings where no one could see.
That’s what you do for family, right?
Then life did something I still don’t have words for…
