Advanced AI-generated audio (like the kind that could fool people in a high-stakes situation) is specifically designed to beat detectors. Consumer “AI checkers” are basically guesswork at this point. Serious verification requires forensic audio analysis (waveform, spectrogram, metadata, chain of custody, etc.), not just feeding it into another AI model.

Tyler Robinson confessed in multiple ways before his arrest: He texted his boyfriend: “Drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.” Under the keyboard was a handwritten note: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.” He sent additional texts admitting motive: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.” He told his boyfriend to delete the messages and get a lawyer if questioned. These are all in the court documents. The Miranda video where he lawyered up with police doesn’t erase his earlier confessions.
