The odds of seeing snow this weekend have increased across central and eastern North Carolina. Exactly who gets what, if anything, remains uncertain. Even subtle shifts in where the upper-level trough moves and where the resulting closed low cuts off can dramatically change what you see. With 3–4 days still to go, it’s impossible to pinpoint how all the moving parts will come together. More wait and see!

Whether or not we get snow this weekend will depend on the late week trough diving south and when and where it cuts off from the main flow of the jet stream. We just don't know yet.
