Barrett denied former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters’ renewed motion for an appeal bond. In denying the bond, the judge cited Peters’ access to private air travel, history of bond violations, prior conviction, repeated delays in the case, and concluded that she is not unlikely to flee and that further appeals appear frivolous and aimed at delay. On Monday, Representative Chellie Pingree stood on the steps of the Supreme Court and named what is actually happening in Congress right now. Pingree fought to have it removed in committee. Every single Republican and one Democrat voted to keep it in. No one can claim to support making America healthy again while voting to protect the companies spraying toxic chemicals on American farmland.
