My Los Angeles Sparks get their 3rd straight road victory tonight over the Washington Mystics 92-87! They were led by Erica Wheeler who scored 14 of her 21 points in the 4th quarter, Nneka Ogwumike finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds, Cameron Brink continued her excellent play with 16 points, and Dearica Hamby scored 14 points.

Game 6 of the San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder was total domination by the Spurs in every area - defense, offense, rebounds, intensity, and physicality! The new face of the NBA, superstar Victor Wembanyama, delivered tonight with 28 points and 10 rebounds and set the tone with aggressive play on both ends of the floor. Their 20-0 run in the 3rd quarter is something you don’t see often, and the Thunder couldn’t respond to stop the blowout. This series has definitely made a massive impact on the NBA worldwide!

I want to congratulate New York Knicks Head Coach Mike Brown, superstar Jalen Brunson, star Karl Anthony Towns, and the entire Knicks organization for advancing to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers!

Oh, and a fun fact - I played against Mitch Johnson’s dad, Seattle SuperSonics superstar John Johnson in the Western Conference Finals back in 1980!

The San Antonio Spurs were outstanding on defense tonight, holding NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to 19 points in their victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Victor Wembanyama dominated the game with 33 points, but what really impressed me was his leadership and how he communicated with his teammates throughout the entire game. I also have to show some love and credit to Spurs’ Head Coach Mitch Johnson, who had a great game plan and made major adjustments from Game 3 to Game 4. The Series is now tied 2-2 and I can’t wait for Game 5 on Tuesday!

It was a great sports day for me! My Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 11-3! Go Dodgers!

The New York Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 and go up 3-0 in the Series. I was disappointed in the Cavaliers effort and body language tonight. There’s no way you’re at home, down 2-0 to the Knicks, and come out with a lack of effort and urgency. The Knicks are on their way to the NBA Finals playing their best basketball, which is going to be trouble for the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs!

My Los Angeles Sparks beat the Aces on the road in Las Vegas 101-95! They were led by Sparks superstar Kelsey Plum with 38 points, but it was a total team effort. Dearica Hamby and Cameron Brink both had 16 points, and I was very impressed with Brink’s play tonight - she will be a key player for us to have a good season! Ariel Atkins had 11 points, Rae Burrell and Erica Wheeler both scored 10 points and Wheeler hit a big three pointer down the stretch to seal the win for us. What makes this win so special is that they did it without a big part of their team, Nneka Ogwumike, who did not play tonight.

The Oklahoma City Thunder showed us all exactly why they’re the Champions tonight! They were down 15-0 to the San Antonio Spurs in the first couple minutes and came back to win the game 123-108. OKC had six players in double figures with big contributions from their bench - Jared McCain had 24 points, Jaylin Williams had 18 points and the NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished a good game with 26 points! I thought the Spurs lost their cool a little bit tonight and that hurt them.

The New York Knicks 109-93 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers proved that the Knicks can win a NBA Championship! Tonight they showed that they can win even when Jalen Brunson doesn’t have a big game - the entire Knicks starting five finished with double figure scoring led by Hart’s 26 points. The Knicks lead the Series 2-0!

The Knicks were down 22 points against the Cavaliers when Jalen Brunson decided to take over and put the Knicks on his back!! He scored 17 of his 38 points in the 4th quarter to lead the the Knicks to a win 115-104 in OT. There’s no way the Cavaliers should’ve lost this game. It’s going to be hard to recover from this loss and win the Series.

Jalen Brunson’s performance tonight proved, once again, that he has the talent to lead the Knicks to a NBA Championship!

Everyone should give Coach Mike Brown a lot of credit. He’s done a tremendous job this season, especially on the offensive end. It was a great decision to make Karl Anthony-Towns their point center, which took pressure off superstar Jalen Brunson having to handle the ball. KAT has been making excellent decisions in his role and is playing some of his best basketball alongside Jalen Brunson, who was unstoppable in the last two rounds of the Playoffs!

I’m looking forward to tonight’s Eastern Conference Finals matchup and I’m picking the Knicks to win this Series vs the Cavs. They have the best bench of the matchup, which I think will be a big factor in deciding who will advance. The only thing the Knicks should be worried about is their time off since their last game, since they were playing their best basketball!

I hate to break the news to the rest of the Western Conference, but they may not have a chance to win the Western Conference Finals for the next 5-7 years. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs are just that good! They are talented, deep, athletic and both teams are well coached.

What a game! What a game! What a performance! What a performance! The San Antonio Spurs’s Victor Wembanyama put on an incredible show tonight finishing with 41 points and 24 rebounds. Wembanyama’s performance was so special because he did it from everywhere on the basketball court, including a Steph Curry like 3 pointer down the stretch. Ladies and Gentleman this is only Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals! 🤯

The Pistons win tonight was all about their bench who dominated, led by Paul Reed’s 17 points and Daniss Jenkins’ 15 points! They also got a good game out of Duncan Robinson who scored 14 points tonight after missing Game 5. If they continue to play this way they will win the series!

I was sad to hear about the passing of former NBA player Jason Collins, who did so much for the LGBTQ community. Cookie and I want to extend our sincerest condolences to his family and close friends.
