The best bit of our adventures is the people we meet along the way and today, we had the pleasure of bumping into @shellienic by pure chance. Social media can be a funny old place sometimes, but every now and then, it can bring about something good ๐

When todayโs day out became even better following a chance meeting of Austin & his dad @ukrailadventure - we happened to not only be on the same train but discovered we were staying in the same hotel! Austin, Baxter & Meredith had rather a good evening! #TrainsBringPeopleTogether #NewFriends

I went out to my local farm shop earlier. It was rammed as expected. It's not often that I'm in a crowded place nowadays and I found it really claustrophobic. Standing in the long queue to pay and the person behind me almost on top of me. I don't have any kind of social anxiety or anything like that, so it wasn't anything remotely like a panic attack. However, It reminded me of when I was a little girl living at home. I came from a large family. Lots of aunts and uncles and cousins. We did things with family a lot and there was always a lot of noise...not bad noise.. .just loud laughter and shouting over each other to be heard.. that kind of thing. My parents and grandparents always described me as being shy. I'm not sure if it was shyness, but I do know I found the noise too much. A highly sensitive person. I always wanted to retreat to my bedroom to play records and read my books or comics, or do some drawing. I've always been this way. This isn't about feeling I'm lacking in any way as I have good self esteem, am emotionally intelligent and insightful, but it is interesting I think how so many of us are born this way. Both my parents were outgoing and yet I was such a withdrawn child. Psychology is quite fascinating, I find.
