UEFN developer creating unique experiences in Fortnite

Thrilled to welcome Blair (@purin_dev) to the Future Trash/FOAD team. He's one of the most talented developers we've ever worked with, bringing not just exceptional technical skills, but genuine passion, creative vision, and a collaborative spirit that aligns perfectly with our mission as a game studio.

2 weeks ago started a commission to optimize @KubxFN #UEFN map Some stats: - memory 81k to 67k - actor count 13k to 10k - project download size -40% - fixed crashes on Switch and map being locked there - slightly optimized Verse loops More to come! Map hit homebar yesterday 🙂

This is officially my last integrated IP project in UEFN. The dev process is slow and painful enough right now without layering this extra pain and effort. For less of a cut. Which will inevitably go nowhere because the category is a mess. If you see me try show me this tweet

What is a better “investment” for an unreal engine gamedev … with every nvidia video card already… an AMD GPU or a Steam Deck to bench games on ?

I think people just don’t know how much of a risk Rocket Racing was compared to Lego and festival. Rocket Racing is practically a pioneer in the racing genre, while Lego and Festival pulled established genres like Survival and rhythm games respectively. #FreeRocketRacing
