One of the commendable things about the Canadian Book of Alternative Services is that you can use those anthems for the WHOLE OF EASTER if you so wanted.

One of the joys of the Irish Prayer Book tradition - the Easter Anthems are said at Morning Prayer on Easter Day "and seven days after". (Every day of Eastertide, as in much contemporary Anglican practice, is too much, obscuring the particular character of Easter Week.)

A local non-denominational megachurch held an Easter Service on Friday. They held Easter on Good Friday. That's not how this works. I understand not being liturgical but to basically erase Good Friday is certainly an interesting theologically decision.
