@christisrisen17 SSPX is not in the position of having to preserve the apostolic succession of the Latin Church (except in the view of those who consider the new ordinal invalid).

The situation of SSPX should be worked out. In the Church of England, the Society of Ss. Wilfred and Hilda is a parallel situation, only more dire. But they are kept in the CofE and their apostolate is to not only preserve catholic teaching, but also the apostolic succession.
Michael Haynes 🇻🇦@MLJHaynes

NEW: If Pope Leo excommunicates the SSPX – “this will go down in history as a huge error in pastoral rigidity & one-sided pastoral severity towards tradition in the Church” -- says Bishop Schneider Schneider was previously the Holy See's visitor to the SSPX Interview w @RaymondArroyo on World Over May 14

For those of you who object to organized religion, don't worry, it's really not as organized as it looks. But then, that's not really your objection, is it?

My career has taken an unexpected turn: I’m still working for a home services company but my president assigned me a task I didn’t expect, and so it’s time to start from scratch once again.

The Marxist communism of the Soviet empire was international socialism. The Marxist communism of China is national socialism.

@TaylorRMarshall It's also about the people's attachment to familiar language. When Jerome's vulgate was published, the Church started using it for the lectionary readings, but still retained older liturgical language forms, such as in the Pater Noster.

When the Roman Mass was translated from Greek into Latin in the 4th century, they decided NOT to translate the ninefold “Kyrie eleison” (Lord have mercy) into Latin but to keep it as Greek. Same for Aramaic/Hebrew words like Sabaoth and Amen. These were intentional “language anchors.” I think the same argument could be made for the Novus Ordo. The Kyrie should stay Greek. Gloria, Pater Noster, Agnus Dei etc should stay Latin. This is clearly the intention of the Fathers at Vatican 2. Agree or disagree? PS: My personal preference is pre-1951 Roman Rite in Latin with established “language anchors” (e.g., Greek Kyrie).

Pierce Brosnan (73 today) may not be everyone’s favourite Bond, but he might be the one who had the most fun; fully embracing the playful, debonair spirit of 007. Brosnan’s advice to the next Bond: “enjoy the role.” I hope they do.

🚨 OLYMPIAN RYAN LOCHTE: "We started watching these people getting baptized, and something came into me, something so pure." "I'm going to start crying. It felt so real watching these people get baptized." "And I asked [my girlfriend], 'What is this?'" She said, "They're washing away their sins. They're getting a fresh start publicly." "And I was like, 'Honey, I want that.'" "And so, I got baptized. I washed away my sins, and trust me, I had a lot!" "... To put your life in front of God and give it to God has changed everything for me." "I'm finding who I am." "I am being a better father, a better person, and I just love the person that I've become now, and I owe it to God." @SatAmericaFNC @FoxNews ⬇️
