My only real Oscars thought is that I think Benicio Del Toro in OBAA is probably my favorite performance of last year and one of the best of this century. Just completely rewires the tone of the film to his own frequency in a way I've seen so little of before. It's really special

CAUGHT STEALING (2025): Aronofsky dialing back the worst of his tendencies to grind out a 100-minute 90s-set mid-budget thriller with an immensely appealing Austin Butler performance front and center results in something not just tolerable but also the best film he’s ever made.

Been waiting on "Processing Payout" for a card sold through PSA VAULT over 8 business days @PSAcard? What gives @natsturner? Seems to be a systemic problem as countless customers are experiencing the same delay. Time for @NEOCards_Comics to do a story on this?

not sure when the embargo lifts but I will say that watching Statham disable an illegal surveillance state while annihilating rogue government agents felt pretty good. Childish of me I suppose but can’t deny it was emotionally satisfying

Sad to see Julia Loktev's magisterial MY UNDESIRABLE FRIENDS snubbed at the Oscars--was the Academy put off by the running time?--but *please* seek it out. A riveting doc about journalists fighting to survive in Putin's Russia, it's about as vital as a movie can possibly be.
