@Kristina4109 Remember when people thought those were Charlie's arms in the trailer, and then when he denied those were his arms, everyone took that as proof positive he was *not* in NWH? Sometimes logic takes a back seat. lol

After DD was canceled and the fandom decided to try to save it, we had years of this sort of thing where every word uttered by actors and the powers that be was put under a microscope either to use as proof the show was coming back or to start another cycle of despair. *Sigh* 😆

Why would there even be discussion of the possibility of putting Foggy in one of the cages if his death was supposed to be a fait accompli???

@a_gonzas @supwiththedevil I'll be disappointed, but I definitely won't regret the show coming back. I also won't regret all the speculation. This is fun for me, not literal life or death.

This is basically my take on the interview. It DOES concern me, and it DOES make me worry that Foggy might really be dead... but you have to pay close attention to what these folks actually say. Charlie's not a lawyer IRL, but it's definitely a lawyer's answer.

I will seriously try to let go of the possibility of Foggy being alive cause it would hurt to much, but to be fair Charlie didn't say they discussed the possibility of him being alive and decided against it. He said they discussed the option of him showing up in one of the cages-

@T10AlarmClock What is wild about this situation is that intellectually we all know they would not spoil this. We know they lie all the time. And yet every time they say what we know they have to say regardless of the truth, all of that goes out the window. It's sooo Groundhog Day.

@KassaAndor Foggy being killed off for real, or Foggy's death being faked are both huge decisions that impact everything. It's not a decision you make on a whim.

I'm not remotely convinced they're telling the truth. No matter how many times they're asked, they are not going to spoil a potentially huge reveal. This is as true today as it was six months ago. Repeating this is Sisyphean at this point. 😫

@a_gonzas @supwiththedevil I'm ok with being disappointed. It's a tv show I love a lot, but at the end of the day it's just a tv show, and I promise I will get over it pretty quickly. You really don't need to save us from ourselves. 😄

@a_gonzas @supwiththedevil Bullseye, the man who never misses, who had all day to make the shot, aimed for Foggy's chest while everyone else in that scene took a bullet to the head. Maybe he knows. Maybe we'll find out Mr. Charles got to him after Vanessa had him released.

@MattsNetiPot @supwiththedevil It is a low probability yet still probable. Matt wouldn't know, but the plot would tease it somehow through characters that are aware in S1, not S2.

@a_gonzas @supwiththedevil 1 in 10,000 is most definitely not probable. They're not going to hit us over the head with neon flashing lights saying "Foggy lives" when they want us to feel the same big emotional payoff Matt will experience.

And yes of course, that is how storytelling works. If they haven't teased it in the plot and S1 didn't make any reveal, then he is as good as dead.
