I tried to turn on my heated car seats this morning. A pop-up on the dashboard told me my free trial had expired. I'm freezing in my own driveway because I forgot to renew my seat subscription. When did this become normal? I own the car. The heating coils are physically inside the seat. But a server in California decided my lower back doesn't deserve warmth today. To fix it, I have to download an app, create an account, and pay eight dollars a month. I refused on principle. Instead, I drove to work shivering while sitting on a microwaved towel. My coworker asked why I smelled like damp cotton. I told him I was protesting the modern economy. Tomorrow I'm supposed to buy a smart toaster. I'm terrified it will hold my bagels hostage until I watch a thirty-second ad.

We can easily take care of healthcare and child care. Switching to universal healthcare would save America money. Universal preschool pays for itself. Additional low cost daycare would be a drop on the bucket compared to ridiculous government costs like the $1 trillion a year military used to fight pointless wars in the Middle East that only serve to make life more expensive.

@WallStreetApes Problem for prosecuting people is the word "fraud". It involves intent, which is very hard to prove. That's why criminals don't mind fraud. We must change our language to using the word maladministration. Meaning, if you do something wrong, you are guilty. Do, not mean to do.

All 34 @MinnesotaDFL senators unanimously rejected my amendment to block rent assistance for illegals, and also rejected other GOP attempts to block rent assistance for sexual predators and fraud offenders.
