@DamienPetersNBA We have to trade Fox for a power forward. It's just so obvious. Going into next season with Fox is just prolonging the inevitable, and straining our relationship with a guard in Harper that looked like an All-NBA player in an NBA Finals. Harper did this as a ROOKIE. Just crazy.

The Spurs need to have some very honest conversations about De’Aaron Fox moving forward. They made the Finals, but he was absolutely underwhelming, especially when they needed him the most throughout the playoffs. The signature burst seems to be gone. The shooting will always be streaky. The inconsistency will always be there. It makes sense for him to step back into a high-level bench role, but it can’t happen with the contract he’s on. They may have to move Vassell or Champagnie to the bench to accommodate the three-guard lineup, but I also don’t think it’s in the best interest of the team to do so. Hard to find a suitor after his playoff performance too. Tricky situation.
