@Keir_Starmer Putting aside the pros and cons of this ban, the one issue is that will a ban be enforceable? China bans a lot of things but citizens find ways to get around the firewall. I imagine kids will find ways to do the same? How does UK intend to enforce this?

We are banning social media access for under 16s.
These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life.
I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.

To be fair, anyone who makes $174K/year, who doesn’t live a life of luxury, and who knows how to invest can become a millionaire. The bigger question is why so many public servants become multi-multi-millionaires just off their salaries alone, and why so many are permitted to make $300K+ doing overtime. Heck, even POTUS only makes $200K/year…
