The #Commanders hosted Ohio State safety Caleb Downs this week in what was his final pre-draft visit. One of the cleanest prospects in the draft, Downs was one of the more impressive interviews throughout the process from what I’ve gathered — especially with defensive coaches on the whiteboard. Just so many rave reviews. Teams near the top of the draft believe his floor could be Washington at No. 7, though it wouldn’t be a surprise if he goes earlier, per sources.

I’ve reached the point where I’ll be happy and content with whoever the Commanders select at #7… Only exception is OL. I’m not a fan of picking another 1st-round OL when we have already invested a lot into our current room.
