I know it's been 40 years and some of you were still sperm in your father, but all y'all screeching NO KIDS WATCHED THE CHALLENGER EXPLOSION are not only stupid, you're pig ignorant.
1) A teacher was on board as an astronaut
2) Lot of teachers wheeled TVs into their classrooms so that kids could watch a teacher fly into space.
3) Those kids saw the Challenger explode
One of the worst videos I saw was of Christa McAuliffe's (the teacher in question) classroom -with a sub teacher- watching the video as the Challenger exploded.

There was a great documentary on Netflix a while ago that showed how NASA and SpaceX operate differently.
NASA won’t build something until they (think) it’ll run flawlessly and then they build one.
SpaceX will blow up 50 rockets and learn something from every failure and iterate from that.

If working together means obstructing traffic with bloated tatted transvestites then yeah, that's left wing. If it means opposing slavery and guaranteeing everyone has the same rights, right wing.

@KellyLMcCarty People assume landing on the Moon for a couple of days is the goal mankind will always have. The goal is not to land on the Moon, dance around for a couple of days, and come back home. It's how to exist permanently. The demands are profoundly greater than they were then.

Can someone explain why we’re only planning to orbit the moon instead of landing on it?
With all the money being spent just to go around it, it definitely raises questions about how we managed to land there before.

Anyone who experienced the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, like I did, is probably a bit hesitant to get too excited about the Artemis II launch today. I truly hope our children don’t have to experience such tragedy. May the Universe welcome them and return them safely home 🙏
