I really despise that social media algorithms are so highly tuned to immediate engagement. Really good content often gets completely buried by the algorithm because it is longer-form, so people have to spend time watching it before reacting and providing the metrics the platforms use, or that the content is a slow burn piece, or something like that. I'd rather a roughly even split on algorithmic promotion of all my content than for it to just allow every third or fourth thing to pop off.
