I was 60 last month and i celebrated by paragliding with my mates in Colombia. We even entered a competition - the british paragliding nationals. With the paragliding, and the equally scary enduro mountain biking competitions i get pressganged into, i didn't think my last 20 (or 30 if I'm lucky) good summers could get much more exciting. But now I'm feeling strangely excited because i think that we will have a civil war in the UK before i die and I've got skin in the game with two grandkids. I'm fit as fuck, wily but probably a little bit reckless because I've had a great life and am possibly getting a little bored now. Not to say that I'm willing to spend my life cheaply on a good cause. But, if the americans decide to arm the english, scottish, welsh and northern irish nationals like they did back in the day with the ira ... Now, that would be a tempting proposition to get involved in. So, MI5, if you're listening, you ought to be paying attention, because when this iran conflict is over, the Americans may be looking at the populations of other authoritarian regimes and wondering how they might assist. 👍 The natives are getting restless.
