@SteveAkehurst @HM_Passport Sons first passport and 2 renewals came within a 10 day window in 2023. However son’s passport had 2 spelling mistakes- his name and the place of birth. It was very difficult to find out where to report such an error - that and sending it back for a replacement took 3 weeks

A rare good news story for the British state: @HM_Passport has suddenly become amazing, after years of dysfunction. I applied for a new passport over Xmas and expected it to be a nightmare, but was totally seamless. Has anyone got any takes as to why? Long read needed…!

Hi @Tesco just opened a roll of pastry to find its covered in tiny black specs- open another roll and discovered the same. It doesn’t look like mould.

English, grew up in Malaysia. I played ping pong with a Chinese kid called Dennis. He didn't speak English and my Hokkien was bad. It dawned on me about 15 years later he was probably saying 'tennis'. Fucking mortified.

My friend tried to withdraw £20k from NatWest after 30 years as a loyal customer. The response? Shocking. Asked what the money was for. Told they needed evidence of spending. In-person: “No cash available, 3-day wait.” Your money isn’t even yours anymore. This should terrify you. Wake Up

.@ConcernedApe I can’t seem to get divorced in game! I am on playstation. I have never tried to get divorced before. It’s save where i had completed 100% before the new update. I have been able to save, but once i divorce and go to sleep I get an error and it crashes

@SarahPedersen2 I have one child- I didn’t have more due to cost and PND. My husband agreed that having another wasn’t the best idea. How many husbands saw what a child did to a woman and wasn’t concerned with their wifes mental and physical health and continued to have more?

@teaandbooks90 I read Rebecca when i was 16 and it was the first book that i was utterly swept up in and I consumed it vigorously. Not many books can do that.

Console and mobile ports are still in progress. I acknowledge that they are taking a long time. There are reasons for this, but the bottom line is that they are not out yet, we are still working on them, and they have been our primary focus since 1.6 came out for PC. It would be a huge relief to me if they were ready today, but they aren't, so all we can do is continue working on them until they are ready. I have not touched Haunted Chocolatier in a long time because I am committed to finalizing Stardew 1.6 first. To those who are frustrated or even agnry about the timeline, I understand and accept full responsibility. To those who are patient and understanding, thank you, you make life better and reduce stress, and I appreciate it. BAck to work

I’m struggling with reading mojo. I need crime/thriller/horror/dystopian books that will wow me. Something different. Compelling. Scary. Addictive. Fast-paced. Books I won’t want to put down & will keep thinking about. So what have you read recently? Or what’s coming out soon?

@BlondeHistorian When i worked in a museum- the amount of anxiety people had asking for a concession or carer ticket was so upsetting - as they didn’t have evidence to show. I didn’t expect them to show me anything.
