@AsidanyaMiracle wow, I was quoted close to £500 for tooth extraction after paying close to £100 for consultation including xray at a private dental clinic in Reading. I had to endure my pain and wait till when I had maternity exemption form to get the extraction done else where for free

Couldn't get NHS dentist surgery so I just went to private.
Called and booked an appt for wisdom teeth pain and sensitivity.
paid £30 at the time of appt just in case you cancel.
Got an appt in 2 days.
Went to surgery, laid down and had xray of my teeth- all well except my wisdom tooth on the left lower side.
Local anaesthesia injected, tooth cleaned and filled, filed and everything was good.
Went to receptionist and paid balance of £30.
Doctor: if you have any more pain after 24hrs give us a call.
2days later: called surgery and booked another appt. Didn't have to pay as it's follow up.
Got an appt for the next day.
Got to surgery and laid down-
Doctor said: do you wanna remove it here or do you want a referral to dental surgeon. We can try to remove it for free 🆓 but if we can't then we have to refer.
Me: just do it then.
Local Anaesthesia injected, 2mins later tooth is out, gauze packed inside the mouth to stop bleeding
Instruction note handed over
Doctor: follow this and you will be fine, come back in 6months for check up.

I genuinely can’t believe I’m reading this correctly!!!
Why should being on benefits entitle someone to a near free trip to some of London’s biggest tourist attractions? These are places that thousands of working people pay full price for every single day.
People who work hard are already struggling with the cost of living and often can’t even afford to take their own children to these places. Yet somehow, those on Universal Credit are being given access at a fraction of the cost.
And then people wonder why more and more are claiming benefits. When the system starts rewarding those who aren’t working over those who are, something has clearly gone very wrong.

£26436.80 is the new min wage annual salary (40 hrs p/wk).
And as the min wage rises, regular salaries don't. So many people will begin to ask themselves 'why am I working this highly stressful job that needed qualifications and a tonne of bullshit paperwork and police checks just to earn 5k more a year than I would stacking shelves at Lidl?'

Corrupt intervention should 100% base kit. It would immediately go away and give no value to killers who can get fast downs and on the flip side it would help a lot for weaker killers
And I'm saying this as a mostly survivor main. Killers need some type of base kit gen slowdown

dbd is silly because sabo is like objectively unhealthy but also it’s one of like 3 things total you can do in the game and it’s part of its identity now so you can’t really remove or change it and the entire game is just that same issue multiplied over and over hundreds of times

i’ve thought basement (or at least the hooks) should be removed from the game for like years now. there are just zero possible fun interactions to be had with it. i don’t think it adds anything of value, and the only gameplay it promotes is universally hated. idk why it exists

How can scientists tell how old a shark is? With many sharks, they can just count their growth rings found in their vertebrae, but for sharks like Greenland sharks that can live an extremely long time, they actually have to test proteins from their eye lenses and perform radiocarbon dating on them! You can’t have a Greenland shark as a pet
