Heartbreaking interview by @ritustweets on @NickFerrariLBC this morning. What came across strongly is how the #CladdingScandal takes over the lives of those involved. Everything put on hold for a situation created by builders and the regulatory regime - with residents the victims

Today we learnt that Grenfell cladding contractor Harley Facades - Failed to check if the cladding was safe - Didn't know the crucial difference between fire classifications - Appointed a company director's son to manage the project In other words, a system rotten to its core.

By the way @LKPleasehold - the @NHBC are the ones paying for the remediation

NCQ residents are going to be charged £320+ VAT per flat for an EWS1 form. Open question to other blocks that have had cladding replaced - were you charged for the EWS1 form on a per building or per flat basis? Surely these should be per building @ukcag @insidehousing
